Return to Work
After every recorded absence, Terio prompts a return-to-work conversation. It is due on the employee’s first day back and should be completed that day: it appears on your to-do list from then and turns red the day after. Terio offers a script for the manager to use, then asks three things before recording anything: whether the employee is fit to return, whether any adjustments are needed, and whether further absence is expected. Terio never fills these in itself. It only records what the manager tells it.
A missing return-to-work conversation never stops you arranging an absence review. Terio warns you that going ahead without one may carry risk depending on the circumstances, and asks you to check it is safe to continue. The 10 days for arranging a review once a trigger is reached is a guide, not a hard limit.
Recording a meeting with no sanction
Example query
Held the absence meeting, no sanction
Terio asks for the date, who attended, the decision, and the reasons for it, then records the meeting. It appears on the employee’s timeline alongside everything else.
Reasons for any decision always come from the person making it, Terio will ask rather than write them itself.
