Employee Onboarding
When an employee accepts their invitation they set a password, then have a short conversation with Terio, which asks for any personal details their employer has not already provided. It asks one question at a time and calls the person by their preferred name.
For some questions Terio shows buttons or a calendar to tap instead of typing: working location (Office, Remote or Hybrid), contract type (Full time, Part time or Zero hours), gender, and the start date. The right control appears only when Terio is asking that question, not while it summarises what it has.
What is asked
Only details missing from the person's record are asked, so nothing the employer already entered is asked again. The details Terio may ask for:
- Working location, contract type and start date.
- Preferred name.
- Personal phone number (a UK number) and personal email address (checked, so a mistyped one is asked for again).
- Home address.
- An emergency contact: their name, their relationship to the person and a UK phone number. This one is required.
- Gender and a business phone number. Both are optional: the person can say they would rather not, or that they do not have one.
Before saving, Terio shows a summary of everything it has, the details the employer provided as well as the new answers, and asks the person to confirm it is right. If something already provided looks wrong, they can tell Terio in the chat or tell their admin.
When it is finished
A short confirmation screen appears, then Terio opens a welcome conversation with a few suggestions of what to try, and the product tour shows the person around. See Your First Sign-In.
